Junior campers are boys who are older than three (potty-trained) and younger than Cub Scout age. Girl junior campers are older than three (potty-trained) and younger than junior staff age (14). Activities provided will be appropriate for 3- to 7-year-olds.
A parent or legal guardian must be in camp at all times. Junior campers will be dropped off in their den site after the opening ceremony. A parent will need to pick up junior campers for lunch and promptly after the last session before closing.
The junior camper area will be on the top level of camp. We will be outdoors, doing a lot of walking in all kinds of weather. It can be very shady in their den site. Please be sure that your child is dressed appropriately.
Cost: $40 per junior camper per week or $10 per day. Pre-registration is required no later than the pre-camp meetings (registration forms are available at the council office and on the council website at www.cpcbsa.org). Junior campers are not given a camp T-shirt, but you are welcome to purchase one for them either at the pre-camp meeting or during camp. The smallest size for t-shirts is Youth Small.
