What Do We Do During Unscheduled Time?

We try to fill our day at camp with exciting and fun activities, but there are moments, such as at lunch time, that you may choose to fill with simple activities they can do while eating or doing gimp or whatever.

Some suggestions for down time activities: work on some achievements or electives that involve a discussion (Character Connections maybe); or have a Cubmaster or Den Leader Minute each day where you give a short talk on a topic related to Scouting (see Program Helps for some examples of Cubmaster Minutes); or just get to know your boys!

LDS packs could use this time for theme-related scripture discussion, or Faith in God activities.

If the boys seem to have a lot of energy, have a game or two in mind and take them out in the meadow to play. Capture the Flag is a popular example.
