Assomption

Assomption is the 16th deepest station in the network and is the 62nd busiest.  This station looks quite boring from the train, but it actually very nice from the platforms and the kiosk.  It’s a little boring in colour – as it’s mainly orange, concrete, and silver.  Yet, the kiosk platform is a very nice and diagonal design and the station is quite big and simple, which I found quite likeable.  Assomption and Radisson also have seats under the stairs from the kiosk platform to the train platform, which is done very nicely.  This station’s downfall is that there are many water stains on the concrete, which other stations have as well, but it’s very noticeable here.  Also, the signs still reflect the station’s older name, L’Assomption, which was changed to just Assomption.

Just arrived at the station, and the train is leaving, heading towards Honoré-Beaugrand.

Direction Angrignon from the kiosk platform.

Sign showing all stations in direction of Angrignon, next to it is an STM bicycle sign which gives directions on how to transport your bike in the metro.  Note how it also gives the other lines at the connecting stations.
