Frontenac

Frontenac is the 10th deepest station in the network and is the 41st busiest.  This station was the eastern terminus of the green line from its inauguration until 1976, when the line was extended to Honoré-Beaugrand.  Frontenac is quite bland and not special.  The seats remind me of those huge handles you have in handicapped bathrooms by the toilets.

Frontenac was built in the course of an underground river, which I definitely confirmed during my visit.  There were water leaks everywhere, including in on the tracks and at the bottoms of the walls.  While on the stairs, I could hear the river gurgling along.

The platforms.  If you see that little red light to the right in the tunnel next to the blueish/white ones, that's the tail of the train.
A rather out of focus (dramatic, I swear!) picture of the station's name plaque.
The metro tracks.  The orangey spots on the one are iron stains from the water leaks.
The bridge from one side to another.
Escalators up to the kiosk platform.
Direction Angrignon sign.
