Monk

Monk is the 56th busiest station in the network and the 18th deepest.  From the train, this station seems dark and plain.  It is not until you reach the bridge that you see what makes this station quite special to the STM.  There are two giant statues with tools in hands, representing the hard work that went into building the metro.

The train leaves.
Name plaque.
You can see the legs of the statues from this view of the tracks.
A good view of the two working with a train below arriving.
The shoveler.
The pickaxer.
And then the shovel up close.
And the pickax up close.
