This site is intended as an historical reference for those interested in railroad signaling and traffic control practices.    The individual pages are designed so that each can be printed on one 8 1/2 x 11 inch page of paper*.  In some cases the pages have been optimized using graphics modification programs to lessen their file size.  The original pages were generally about 3 x 5 inches in overall area.  Some of the source material is almost 100 years old and the pages may show some defects due to age and wear.
