The Chesapeake Area Nortel Networks Users (CANNU), formerly the Baltimore Area SL-1 Users Association, is a dedicated group of telecommunications and information technology professionals united for common benefits and purposes. Our business community focus centers around educational and collegial networking regarding professional development, communications, systems integration, information technologies, and telecommunications. Our institutional focus centers around the design, implementation and use of communications and networking products of Nortel Networks (SL-1, Meridian 1, Norstar, SL-100, IP, Bay Networks and more), Nortel partners and distributors, and resellers of Nortel products, and other manufacturers whose products integrate, inter-operate and interact with Nortel Networks systems. We are an incorporated organization affiliated with the International Nortel Networks Users Association (INNUA), formerly the International Nortel Networks Meridian Users Group (INNMUG), formerly known as ISLUA, and a member of the Central East Coast Region, an association of INNUA affiliates in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and Washington, DC.
