| We have included 661 framed photos with captions on this CD in power show format with instrumental music in the background to help break the monotony of just viewing pictures. It will play full screen at 600 x 800 or 1024 x 768 pixel resolution. The show is broken down into five parts with a short introduction to the trip. Part one takes you across the USA with some interesting stops to out of the way places. Part two goes through Canada again with many interesting stops. You will notice that we do not hesitate to go out of our way to see something if it looks the least bit interesting. Parts three and four take you to many of Alaska's scenic wonders that a lot of visitors never take the time to see. And the last or fifth part takes you from northern Alaska down to Hyder at the southern most tip by way of the Cassiar Highway and back east by way of the northern USA and Canada's Niagara Falls. |

National Park. We drive through Montana, Idaho (where we tour a silver
mine) and Washington state. Crossing into Canada on July 1, 2002, we spend
the next 3 weeks visiting places such as the old gold mining town of Barkerville,
the Alcan Highway and the 460 mile long dirt and gravel Dempster Highway
which takes us into the Arctic Circle and the Northwest Territories to
the town of Inuvik. Visit the gold rush town of Dawson City in the
Yukon and take the ferry across the mighty Yukon River, where we travel
the Top of the World Highway into Alaska on July 20, 2002. We stop in Chicken,
Alaska... Spend 2 days in Denali Park... Fly around Denali in a small plane...

the Alaskan Gulf looking for sea life, including Orca whales... Drive along
the old railroad bed into McCarthy and Kennicott... Fly over the Wrangle
Saint Elias Mountains... Visit with Grizzly bears in Haines and Ride the
White Pass Railroad in Skagway. We stay in Alaska till around the end of
August, then start heading home by way of the Cassiar Highway with a stop
in Hyder, Alaska. We tour the Canadian Rockies and the Icefield Parkway
then come back into the states in Montana. We cross the northern USA by
way of Michigan's upper peninsula than cross over into Canada again to
visit Niagara Falls before heading back home in mid September with a total
of 3300 photos. Over 1300 of these photos are now included on this CD. |
