DAMAGE SURVEYS

At times when a vessel has suffered damage, a surveyor may be called in to assess the extent of the damage and the direction of the repairs. The client in this case may either be an insurance company that has called on the surveyor to look at the vessel or it may be the owner of the vessel that wants a surveyor to look at the vessel in his behalf. Once the damage has been assessed and the repairs outlined the surveyor may be called on to oversee the repairs.
