Paul, W3BET, Dillsburg, PA area, Tel. (717) 432-3905 has available a nice metal radio cabinet, 75" high by 20" deep, which has 68" of vertical space for 19" wide panels with a locking rear door.

 
It is equipped with internal 120VAC outlets to power various equipment installed therein.  Also has another metal cabinet containing a power supply providing 600VDC, minus 90VDC for bias and 6.3VAC filament supply.  It is ideal for someone still using tube type equipment.
 
Both items are available free of charge to any interested amateur who can utilize them.
 
Pickup is easy for someone with muscles having a van or a pickup truck with an 8 foot bed. He has a hand truck available to move the items easily.

The Hallicrafters SX-110 Receiver receiver was manufactured from 1960 to 1963 and is a single conversion superheterodyne receiver with bands covering 80, 40, 20,  15 and 10 meter amateur bands, 11 meters citizen's band, broadcast band 540 - 1680 kc plus 3 shortwave bands covering 1680 kc - 34 mc.  Features include a slide rule bandspread dial calibrated for the amateur bands, separate bandspread tuning condenser, crystal filter, antenna trimmer, S-meter, one r-f and two i.f. stages.  It has seven tubes plus one rectifier.  It is 18 3/4 x 8 x 10 1/4 and weighs 32 pounds.  It sold for $160 - $170.00 new.   Posted 1/29/07
