Object:
One rider attempts to tag another rider while all players are riding according to adjustments for their level of skill.
Play:
Choose a player to be the Chaser. The Chaser tries to tag another rider.
Riders may only be tagged while riding, unless a rider intentionally dismounts just to avoid being tagged. All players ride with adjustments according to their skill level.
When the Chaser tags another rider, that rider becomes the Chaser and tries to tag any other rider except the one who tagged him.
Levels 1, 2 Ride
Levels 3, 4 Ride with one hand held behind back
Levels 5, 6 Ride one-footed
Levels 7, 8 Ride one-footed, weaker foot
Levels 9, 10 Ride one-footed, weaker foot, one hand behind back
Variation:
For more challenge, add “Crank.” Each time a player is tagged and becomes the Chaser, he or she also gets a letter penalty—first C, then R, and so on. Players keep track of their letters. When a player is tagged and reaches the letter K, that rider is out of the game once he or she tags another player.
