International Ranking of Unicycling Skill

Prerequisite: Rider Base 6

 

Equipment required:  Juggling balls or bean bags; juggling clubs (optional) for Classes 7-3 to 7-5.

All skills (unless stated otherwise) begin with freemount and riding, then juggling.

Count throws/catches as specified. All skills end by catching equipment, riding at least three revolutions forward, and dismounting with unicycle in front.

 

All juggling must be continuous once it begins, with no misses.

 

Juggling Intermediate Skills

 

Class 7-1

1. Ride while juggling a three-ball cascade for 10 throws.

 

Class 7-2

1.  Ride while juggling a three-ball cascade for 25 throws.

2.  Ride in a circle to the right, using no more than 12 revolutions, while juggling a three-ball cascade.

3.  Ride in a circle to the left, using no more than 12 revolutions, while juggling a three-ball cascade.

4.  Idle 5 times while juggling a three-ball cascade.

 

Class 7-3

1.  Begin juggling three-ball cascade, freemount using the standard mount, ride and continue juggling for 10 throws.

2.  Ride in a figure 8, using no more than 8 revolutions for each circle (16 revolutions total), while juggling a three-ball cascade.

3.  Ride while tossing two clubs from hand to hand for 10 throws; or ride while juggling two balls in one hand for 10 throws.

4.  Idle 15 times with right foot while juggling a three-ball cascade.

5.  Idle 15 times with left foot while juggling a three-ball cascade.

 

Class 7-4

1.  Begin juggling a three-ball cascade, freemount, ride and continue juggling an alternate three-ball pattern for 15 throws.

2.  Ride in a circle to the right, using no more than 8 revolutions, while juggling two balls in the right hand or while tossing two clubs hand to hand.

3.  Ride in a circle to the left, using no more than 8 revolutions, while juggling two balls in the left hand or while tossing two clubs hand to hand.

4.  Ride one-footed while juggling a three-ball cascade for 10 throws.

5.  Idle one-footed 15 times while juggling an alternate three-ball pattern.
