SHOW HISTORY/DETAILS
The Artists Market & Craft Show is sponsored by the Huron High Booster Club, but welcomes involvement from all members of the Huron High community.  This is the third annual Huron Artists Market & Craft Show.  The 2007 show was a big success, with attendance in excess of 1400.  We were not able to host a show in 2008, due to the installation of a new wood floor in the dome gym.  The show coordinators, Julia Barrie and Carol Poling, have coordinated four previous shows in the area: the 1st Huron Artists Market & Craft Show, and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Artists Market & Craft Show in affiliation with St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, and in 2003, Fr. Gabriel Richard High School.  This year's show is  solely for the benefit of Ann Arbor Huron High.  Because Huron High School has 1700 students, we will have a substantial amount of parent/student and community involvement in the show.  This is a still a fairly new show for Huron, and there is  much excitement and anticipation surrounding the event.

The show will be held in the large circular gymnasium in the athletic end of the school.  We plan to accept approximately 100 exhibitors.  The show is very compact, located ONLY in the dome gym, not in any hallways.  This makes it enjoyable and convenient for shoppers, and insures vendors that shoppers will have an easy time finding and returning to their booth.
