Carrington & Linda Dixon's Homepage

Carrington And Linda Dixon

A little bit about Carrington:

I am a Native Texan. I was born in Fort Worth and raised in Garland. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. I spent the next two years in the Army as a lieutenant in the Signal Corps.

On return to civilian life, I went to work for Texas Instruments as a computer programmer. While at TI in programmed a variety of mainframe machines in systems and scientific applications. For several years, I worked for EDS, programming business applications on mainframe and personal computers. Nowadays, I do mainframe programming for KnowldegeBase Marketing, Inc.

I played cornet and trumpet all through high school and college and developed a love of music that still manifests itself in my CD column, which is an outgrowth of my oversized record and CD collection.

A little bit about Linda:

Linda is a naturalized Texan. She was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She has a Bachelors Degree in Education from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Masters in Education from East Texas State University. She has taught school in Dallas Texas, Rogers Arkansas, and Princeton Texas.

Linda's hobbies include hiking and camping. Here is a picture of her crossing the Buffalo River in Arkansas. Yes, that is ice in the background.

Nowadays, we live in McKinney with our dog, Haiku, and three cats, Stoney, Penelope, and Ziggy.
For many years I had another cat named Rascal and a dog named Moose.
