My name is Carter Viray and I'd like to
introduce you to my inventory of quality
hand made wooden and acrylic pens.
I have been
making hand turned wooden and acrylic pens since learning to do so in
junior
high school woodshop class.
I first received a wooden pen from my
Grandmother a few years ago. The feel of a
quality wooden pen in my
hand was something I enjoyed. When the class was available I
jumped at it
so I could learn how to make more of these beautiful writing instruments.
Since that time I have taught other
family members how to make their own wooden pens. It was some of them
that encouraged me to try
to sell some of my creations since I was collecting quite a lot of them.
As I became more professional in my ability
I decided to make these hand turned pens
and sell them as a way to earn
money for my college education.
