KFJC Radio - KFJC is an influencial community college station out of Los Altos Hills, CA (local to me). The station has long championed NZ music, particularly Xpressway and early Flying Nun as well as the avant garde and all sorts of esoteric music. They have hosted live in the studio performances from Gate, Roy Montgomery, Bill Direen, Six Organs Of Admittance, Acid Mothers Temple and loads more. A while back they recorded and broadcast The Dunedin Sound festival (they may still have copies of the Dunedin Festival CD for a nominal and more than fair donation). From their web site you can tune in to the station and hear one of the west coast's truely free radio stations.
