Propeller Records Discography

This is a complete discography of Simon Griggs' Propeller Records. Propeller is responsible for some of New Zealand's greatest punk and pop records and Griggs was a substantial presence in the country's early punk movement, helping to form and later managing the legendary Suburban Reptiles. A number of Propeller sides have recently been unearthed and reissued on the AK79 CD reissue on Flying Nun and on the "Killed By Death" styled bootleg LP/CD "Hate Your Neighbours". Propeller also had a child, that was Furtive Records which would be the first home of NZ legends Tall Dwarfs and future Flying Nun stars The Skeptics among others. The label was resurrected breifly in the late 1980's with a couple of dance oriented 12" singles, reflecting Staff's interests at the time. Periodic reissued have appeared over the years Thanks very much to Simon Griggs for the information. Simon has an exceptionally detailed web site at Propeller Records, filled with loads of history and most of the information on this discography.
