Hanging Storage Pockets

One of the features lost during the 1985
redesign of the C22 were the cabin shelves that ran down the sides of the boat. Having a place for all those odds and
ends one seems to need aboard a boat has caused shelf envy in more than one "New
Style" C22 owner.
Bob Gales and Gail O'Neil, of Fleet
20 in Portland, Oregon, increased the storage in
their boat Imagine (#13501) with a sewing project. Hung from the bulkheads
or the internal teak trim, the storage pockets provide a convenient place for those items
you want close at hand.
A unique feature of Bob and Gail's design, is the use of clear plastic to
facilitate the visibility of the pocket's contents. The project was accomplished
using a standard home style sewing machine.
