GUARDIAN ANGEL PRAYER
O Holy Angel, attendant of my wretched soul and of mine afflicted life, forsake me not, a sinner, neither depart from me for mine inconstancy. Give no place to the evil demon to subdue me with the oppression of this mortal body; but take me by my wretched and outstretched hand, and lead me in the way of salvation. Yea, O holy Angel of God, the guardian and protector of my hapless soul and body, forgive me all things whatsoever wherewith I have troubled thee, all the days of my life, and if I have sinned in anything this day. Shelter me in this present night, and keep me from every affront of the enemy, lest I anger God by any sin; and intercede with the Lord in my behalf, that He might strengthen me in the fear of Him, and make me a worthy servant of His goodness. Amen.

During Lent it is encouraged that each person give up something or make a sacrifice to have a daily physical reminder of the penitential spirit of the season and to remember the sacrifice that the Lord made for our redemption. A practice that has been gaining popularity is not just giving something up, but doing something extra for Lent. This extra thing would be anything that brings us closer to God, from volunteer work to spending extra time in prayer and adoration.

4.   Present a web site for those on a personal journey of conversion and return home to the fullness of faith and truth that is the Lord Our God and His historical Church. This site is provided as a personal devotion of its author welcoming those wanting to reflect on the beauty and solitude that is Our Lord and His kingdom.

I speak the same message to my chidren and grandchildren as spoken by Karol Wojtyla, Sr, of his young son Karol, Jr, when he said "I would like to be certain before I die that 'you' will commit yourself to God's service."
In his Seminary years, Karol Wojtyla, Jr, said, "I live in a world of faith in an intuitive and emotional fashion . . . (and discover) that it is a world that can be justified by the most profound as well as the most simple reasons."

All You Have Is A Gift From God

God's Covenant Family
God has established his relationship to man through His Covenants, with man and woman from the beginning. In the beginning God Created Man and Woman, male and female He created them. Since Adam and Eve down through Salvation History to His people today, God has established ever deepening Covenants with Man. His last, and final covenant was established by His Divine Son, Jesus, by writing His Law, the Word of God, upon our hearts. Within His covenant family, parents are responsible for their own eternal salvation and that of each of their off-spring. The father, being the priest and head of the family, has the responsibility to see that their children have eternal salvation, and the mother, being the confider, has the responsibility of passing the Law and the Word of God onto their children. Through both members of the family, the children are made members of and brought into the Body of Christ. Both will stand before God and answer to Him for meeting and fulfilling this responsibility. Both stand before God in receiving both His Judgment and His Mercy because of and through His Grace.

Personal Devotion and Mystagogy:
THIS SITE IS FOR PERSONAL USE - - This site is the author's personal Journal for the continuing conversion journey deeper into Catholicism from Protestantism, into the supernatural and mystical, the spiritual. A mystical theology of a personal relationship with Jesus, a deep rich spirituality with God. Through the infusion of the Holy Spirit one may journey deeper and deeper into their soul knowing Jesus. "Come to Me. For I am with you always, unto the end of the world, even unto Eternity."
This is a reference library of Catholic thought and theology set in a Garden oasis, an Eden of devotion and reverence to My Lord and My God, and for Our Lady. Those entering here are welcome to also journey along a personal path of continuing religious and spiritual conversion while witnessing and testifying to God's Divine Love and Mercy, to His Divine and Eternal Wisdom and His Divine Will.
Salvation and redemption is through God's Grace and Mercy Alone, and brought to our understanding through the indwelling Holy Spirit, the Divine Third Person of the Godhead;
Lord Jesus Christ. And He said, "And, who do you say I am?" You are the Son of the Living God, The Divine Second Person in the Trinity.
O Lord, I will worship and adore You in holiness and on bended knee.

My Personal Journey was in search for the truth, the real - true story of Jesus Christ and His presence in our lives. What really happened to Jesus and what is He in my life. My first journey ended and my true journey began at the age of 62 when I found that the woman I had married 35 years earlier in a Catholic Church in Spokane, Washington had and knew that truth I had spent so much time in search for. Although by the time I realized this she had because of our marriage become a "non-practicing Catholic" she knew the real truth. And, it was very simple - I had even known this truth as a child in my Methodist Church, "Jesus Loves Me This I Know For The Bible Tells Me So." She knew and had a very simple love of our Lord and He was constantly present in her life, His love shining through her very existence. What I learned though was that this love presented itself in her through the Catholic Church in the "Fullness of the Faith."
Since, I have learned that what I knew of Jesus was true, that he is the sum total of our salvation, that what He had done on the Cross for us was that simple truth. But, once I knew this it was just the beginning of my journey into the Real Truth, the Mystery of Jesus and His Real Presence in our life. Once I knew this I found that Jesus was not alone in His sacrific but there was a whole world around Him, there were people and events that were also real, and there have been 2000 years of that real world since. I was not alone in His world of sacrifice, but there is a whole Story presented in the Whole and Real Truth of Jesus, and it is the story I have learn since as presented through the Catholic Church for that 2000 years, and that became my deep conversion into Catholic-Christianity.

PERSONAL CONVERSION
The personal conversion one goes through is brought about within many influencing factors. In my conversion one such influencing factor was Mother Mary Angelica and the Eternal Word Television Network that she created and its dramatic presentation of Our Lord and the truth and fullness of faith of the Catholic Church and in its 2000 years of faithfulness to Our Lord's message. In the end though it is all through the work of the Holy Spirit and Grace of God.

PRAYER FOR MOTHER MARY ANGELICA
(To Obtain the Beatification of the Servant of God, Mother Mary Angelica, at the proper time)
Jesus, my God, who does so ardently desire that Thy Divine Love, Divine Mercy, and Divine Will reign on earth as It is in Heaven, humbly I beseech Thee to glorify Thy humble Servant, Mother Mary Angelica, of the Blessed Sacrament, of the Child Jesus, the Daughter of the Divine Eternal Word, Communications of the Air, who has done so well glorify Thee on earth by her extraordinary virtues, by her ardent zeal, by her communications of the air, by her writings and, indeed, by her entire life wholly devoted to the salvation and sanctification of souls redeemed by Thy Most Precious Blood. Amen.

TO GLORIFY YOUR SERVANT MOTHER MARY ANGELICA PRAYER
O Most Holy Trinity, Our Lord Jesus Christ taught us that, as we pray we should ask that our Father's Name be always glorified, that His Will be done on earth and that His Kingdom should come to reign among us.
In our great desire to make known this Kingdom of love, justice, virtue, and peace we humbly ask that you glorify your Servant Mother Mary Angelica, of the Blessed Sacrament, of the Child Jesus, the Daughter of the Divine Eternal Word, Communications of the Air, who, with her constant prayer and suffering deeply yearned for the salvation of souls and the coming of God's Kingdom in the world.
Following her example we pray to You, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, to help us joyously embrace the crosses of this world so that we may also glorify your Name and enter into the Kingdom of your Will. Amen.

JohnPaulII-2

  John Paul II
Our Holy Father
From 1978 - Until 2005

The papacy of Pope John Paul II has affected every section of the globe. As the most traveled pontiff in history he has been able to bring his message of peace and spiritual fulfillment to millions in a personal manner. Every pilgrimage has been considered important event for peoples of all nations as well as all members of the church.

John Paul II, after the Jubilee Year, has called for the Christian evangelization of the world. Each of us are to carry the Word of God, as presented by Jesus the Son of God, to the world.

The True Church of Christ will be born out through Divine Truth:
Truth derived from Scripture and Tradition:
the Authority of the Church, the Accession and Succession of Peter and the Apostles, the Recognition of Mary and the Saints, the Sacraments

In 1862, St. John Bosco had prophetic dream where he predicted: "There will be an ecumenical Council in the next century, after which there will be choas in the Church. Tranquility will not return until the Pope succeeds in anchoring the Boat of Peter between the twin pillars of Eucharistic Devotion and Devotion to Our Lady. This will come about one year before the end of the century."

PopeBenedict-16

  Our Holy Father
Pope Benedict XVI

The election to the papacy of Pope Benedict XVI has been very good for the church. Pope Benedict is a good follow-through to the papacy of John Paul The Great in that Pope Benedict as Cardinal Ratzinger was the head of the Doctrine of the Faith and was very close to our previous Pope. He is a renound Theologian and has many books to his credit and was one in mind and soul with John Paul II. Pope Benedict carries many of the doctrines forward and has the intent to further clarify them from Vatican Council II.

PRAYER OF INTERCESSION:
Blessed Mary, ever virgin, adorable Arc of the New Testament covenant, Queen of Heaven;
Blessed St. Joseph, dependable, faithful, chaste, husband of Mary, and guardian of the Lamb of God;
Blessed Mary, Our Lady of Fatima, for the consecration of Holy Russia, and the protector of Pope John Paul II;
Blessed Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Intercessor of the Unborn;
Blessed St. Faustina, of the Blessed Sacrament and of Jesus Divine Mercy;
Blessed St. Therese, beautiful little flower of the Child Jesus and of the Holy Face;
Carry my petitions to God Almighty: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit;
Carry my petitions to Our Savior, Lord Jesus Christ;
And intercede for me that my prayers and petitions might be granted;
For the consecration of the nations of the world to Jesus of the Divine Mercy and to the blessed mother of God, Mary;
And, baptism me and my loved ones by the fire of the Holy Spirit and send to us all graces that the Holy Spirit might grant us;
Lead, guide, protect, heal, convert, teach, love and make me one in Thy Holy Family.

Prayer For Graces Through Blessed Sr. Faustina’s Intercession
O Jesus, Who filled Blessed Faustina with profound veneration for Your boundless Mercy, deign, if it be Your holy will, to grant me through her intercession the grace for which I fervently pray:
My sins render me unworthy of Your Mercy, but be mindful of Sister Faustina’s spirit of sacrifice and self-denial, and reward her virtue by granting the petition which, with childlike trust, I present to You through her intercession.
Our Father . . ., Hail Mary . . ., Glory Be . . . (Whoever receives a grace through the intercession of Blessed Faustina, is asked to communicate it to: The Postulation of Blessed Faustina Kowalska, ul. Wronia 3/9, 30-420 Krakow, Poland)

Dear Lord, you know my weakness. Each morning I resolve to be humble, and in the evening I recognize that I have often been guilty of pride. The sight of these faults tempts me to discouragement. Yet I know that discouragement itself is a form of pride.
I wish, therefore, O my God, to build all my trust upon You. As You can do all things, deign to implant in my soul this virtue which I desire. -St. Therese of Lisieux

OUR LIFE IS BUT A MOMENT
As we go through our life's journey, and as we live in God, there is a meaning for every aspect of our life, whether good and bad, whether directed by our will or His Will.
In our journey home we find that we can not love Our Lord and receive His Love and Divine Mercy without serving Him in His plan of redemption both for man and for us; the purpose for our life's existance, even if in the smallest way and affecting the smallest number. Being in His family and being in Him, we are under His Divine Will with His Holy Spirit guiding us along our path serving this purpose. Your will becomes an instrument within His Will, as He shapes and moulds us to perform His Will.
As Our Lord said to Saint Faustina (paraphrased), 'for you to carry out what He wanted of you and expects of you, you must do as much as you can and He will do the rest, so that His Will is done.' If we will only surrender our will to His Will. Just as Saint Faustina found with her soul. The more she surrendered her will to Jesus the more her soul merged into His Soul and she received His graces and became His instrument - to present His message of God's Divine Mercy and to then to serve Him in saving souls to Him. 'Truely, Thy Will be done, and not mine.'
When we give over our will to the Lord, not only does our will become subjected to His will, but so also does our soul.
Even in this journey, though, our entire life in comparison to God's eternity is but a moment in the Eyes of God. What seems like an eternity to us is only a moment in eternal reality during which time He loves only us. We skim along in time as on the surface of a pond only really knowing His presence and His guidance of our life as we momentarily touch the surface of the pond. And even then, rarely do we get a glimpes of His presence in or purpose for our life. Many don't realize what their purpose is or know then the depth of His love and mercy for them.

Those who might be the offended are those having a liberal bent and those wanting to modernize the Church and rid our faith of the Divine Jesus and the symbologies that enforce and reenforce our faith and love for God, His Christ, the Blessed Mother Mary, all the Angels and Saints, the Sacraments of the Church, the very Church as the one, true, Catholic, and apostolic historical Church.
