We started off the festivities (rather late) with introductions as we all sat in
a circle. We shared our experiences of our first dates, with a very notable,
but unprintable, one shared by Joe (ask someone who was there).

The men, um, erected the Maypole, which was a cedar tree, in the backyard.
There were 20 ribbons and 20 dancers (I just love it when it works out that
way).
The weave was absolutely perfect. This was the first time that we
have ever had a perfect Maypole dance.
