Descendants of the James Caudle family who moved to Texas in 1841 are planning a reunion for the fall of 2004 in the Erath County area. Details of that planning will be posted here and on genealogy web sites. If you would like to be notified of new events about this, send your email address to me.

Folks who have ancestors in the Caudle Cemetery will be interested to know that a Caudle Cemetery Association is in the planning stage. This is necessary to set up a perpetual care fund for the cemetery so it will not be neglected for another 100 years.
