Following publication of The Last Roundup on April 11, 1946, a smaller "chota" version of
Roundup was produced.
As noted in the final regular issue, "chota" means "small" or "little" in Hindi.
There were at least five issues of Chota Roundup published before the close of the India-Burma Theater on May 31,
1946.
According to an announcement in The Last Roundup:
"A smaller-sized edition of Roundup will commence weekly publication in Calcutta a week from today, April 18.
It will be smaller, but its 'chota' staff will see to it that it carries a good coverage of local and world news,
and some of the entertainment features you have enjoyed in Roundup."
Many of the stories in the Chota Roundup were about troopships departing for the States and
activities related to the close of the Theater.
As Roundup had documented the history of CBI, Chota Roundup recorded it's end.
Four issues of Chota Roundup have been recreated online.
