Welcome to the home page of Boy Scout Troop 498. Troop 498 is chartered to Saint Benedict Catholic Church, in the heart of Richmond's historic Museum District. The troop meets on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. in the parish school at Grove Avenue and Belmont Avenue during the school year. Information about joining scouting may be had by contacting the troop by e-mail at troop.498.bsa@gmail.com. While the troop has a distinctive Catholic tradition, all boys willing to live by the Scout Oath and Scout Law are welcome at our fire.
