Why Does This Website Exist?

Just what the world needs, right? Another bloody website. Perhaps not, but I needed one. Or, at least, I think I need one to hold my published articles, as well as my unpublished ones, some photos, links to my blog and other ephemera of my online existence.

I suppose that everyone whose published a website, whether it's a brilliant site or one of those eyesores, believes they need a website. Do any of us really need a website? Probably not.

So, okay, I think I need a website. I have some spare time and want to play around with web design. There you have it.

So, here's the disclaimer: This website will not enhance world peace, solve global warming, teach you how to play the xylophone, or practically anything useful.

If you get something useful or entertaining here, then together, we've made the world a better place, no matter how incrementally.
