Family Photo Gallery

The Cecil family photo above was taken probably around 1910.   The gentleman in the center of the photo is my great-grandfather, James Cecil.  He migrated to Arkansas from Tennessee.  My father, Wesley, is the youngster that is on the far left.

Here is my father with his two brothers, Rece and Levi. My father is holding the youngest, Levi.

The above caption tells all.  He and his wife are in the photo at the top of the page.  He donated the land that Cecil Cemetery adjoins the city limits of Vandervoort.

My father built this log cabin for his family between 1930 and 1935.  It still stands and is in good repair.

This is the Harve and Caldonia Dickerson family. They had eleven children. !0 are shown here. The missing child is one of the girls that passed away. Two daughters died in their teens. My mother, Bessie, is at the back of the center of the photo, peeking around a younger brother.

Above are my three older brother with their grandparents.  From left to right they are;  Howard, Ralph, and Glenn.

The Dickerson home place just outside of Cove, Arkansas.  This home has been there for decades.  The original home site sat further back in behind this one.
