TURKEY                            

On May 16, 2002, Allyn Higgins and Chuck Lichtenwalner flew to New York City to spend a week before departing for Istanbul, Turkey.

The stop in New York was to catch up on Broadway shows and visit with friends.  During the week we saw:

         

             

We took a tour of Radio City Music Hall and were photographed with a Rockette!

 

 

On May 23, we boarded a Turkish Airlines Airbus A340 and settled back for our nine-hour flight to Istanbul.  
  Our tour would take us from Istanbul to Ankara on another short flight.  Then we would travel by bus to Cappadocia (pronounced Kap-a-doke΄-ee-a) to Antalya to Fethiye to Bodrum to Kuşadasi (Kush΄-ada-seh) to Canakkale and back to Istanbul.
