We have several types of vans in Circle City Van Club. There are work trucks,
conversion vans, vans under construction, one's called rat vans and
show vans. They range from vans in the 60's to the newest on the
market.
Circle City Van Club has a very long history. We have been around for
several years. If you would like to know more about us, check
out our history page.
Krylon Cowboy, President
Legal Lady, Treasurer & Newsletter Editor
Krylon Cowboy (Ron) has been active in vanning for over 20 years. He became president of
Circle City Van Club in 1990 and has held this office every year
till present day. He originally became interested in
vanning in the mid 70's. He started with a club called United Street Vans.
He was a member of that club for a few years. United Street Vans
did more local things and was a stepping stone to the future for
him. While with United Street Vans, he met and became
friends with Circle City Van Club members. After quitting United
Street Vans he longed for the strong connection that van clubs have.
In the winter of 1982 he again met Circle City Van Club members at a mall
show in Glendale. After talking to them, he then applied for membership
to Circle City Van Club. In 1983 he began going to truck-in's
starting with Bluegrass Vanners Bone Age Turck-in. As of now he
has not missed one of their truck-ins since his first one.
Vanning has become his life in every sense of the word. He even
has a huge collection of toy vans.
In 1985 he met (me) his soon to be wife, Common Law. I didn't actually attend my
first truck-in until 1986, which was also an eVANt hosted by Bluegrass Vanners.
We have built several trucks together, my favorite being MY Blue Flame.
We did marry
in 1988.
I had to change my name to Legal Lady after we were married.
Since joining the club, I have had the
pleasure of being the Newsletter Editor for CCVC. Ron, on the other hand, has held
every office available in the club except for Secretary & Treasure.
Together we attend as many as 14 truck-ins a year. We also go to 3 or 4
Hall Parties during the winter months.

Although Two Percent (2%) (above) wasn't the first show truck it is the
one that has won the most awards for us. The awards have a wide
range. They include First Place No-show, First In Class, Top
Twenty Five, Best Interior, Best Exterior, Second Place, Best Theme,
and even one Best Of Show. Guess it needs some fancy lights to
get in the Bright-N-Shine next.
Krylon Cowboy and Legal Lady are also the representative form CCVC in the
Hoosier Van Congress. Cowboy has been the Co-Chairman and the truck-in Chairman for
several of last few years in the Hoosier Van Congress. If you have been to some
of the INSTITUTION Truck-ins, then you have seen some of his accomplishments with the mega help of many others involved.

Roach Clip, Member
Pooter, Member
Roach Clip(Mikie) has been in the club longer than any of our other
members. He was voted into CCVC in November of 1978 and has been an extremely active
member for most of that time.
He has several Early Dodges. This one is stock down to the AM radio that
still works. This one is looking for a new home.
Roach Clip and Pooter (Janet) don't get to attend as many truck-ins as they would like
because of his job. Mikie has to work most weekends and just
can't get away.
