Located in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, STRAIGHTSHOT SHOOTING was formed in 2001 by Dave Edwards to provide quality firearms instruction to both new and experienced shooters. An avid shooter, hunter, pro-gun political activist and ardent Second Amendment supporter of our firearms freedoms, Dave believed that people should be instructed in a relaxed atmosphere that stressed safety.  Dave believed that each student mattered and that each student should glean something from each and every class.  He also believed that people should be treated as people, not cattle, and should not be herded through a class in order to fill some instructor's pocketbook..

At the very least, upon completing Dave's class, students would use their heads.  They would practice gun safety and safe gun handling techniques forever.  They would realize the importance of regular practice, and they would pass such normal behavior and skills on to their children and grandchildren as well.

After a time, Dave decided that STRAIGHTSHOT SHOOTING should to be able to do more.  It only made sense to complement quality firearms instruction with quality American made products.
