NRA Personal Protection/CCW Course

 

 

National Rifle Association Personal Protection in the Home Course taught by Dave Edwards of STRAIGHTSHOT SHOOTING.  The Personal Protection in the Home course covers all Michigan Concealed Pistol License training requirements as specified in PA 381 of 2000 and amended as by PA 719 of 2002 and more.  Upon successful completion, a signed training certificate is provided as proof of training as well as an NRA Personal Protection in the Home certificate, suitable for framing.

 

Dave Edwards is an NRA Certified Instructor in NRA First Steps, Basic Pistol, Rifle, and Personal Protection in the Home courses.  Dave is also an NRA Range Safety Officer, NRA Endowment Member and NRA recruiter.  He actively promotes pro-gun activities and issues and is also an active sportsman and hunter.  In his Personal Protection in the Home course, his relaxed yet safety oriented teaching style is complemented by excellent legal instruction provided by a current, veteran, knowledgeable police investigator.

 

Classes are taught in St. Clair Shores, and the three-hour range portion is fired separately at Peters Gun Range in Roseville.  Class size is limited, and pre-registration is required.

 

Cost:

 

Class + Range:  $125          - includes all classroom materials, instruction, and range fees

Deposit:               $ -25           - collected in advance to guarantee a seat

Balance:              $100          - due the day of the class

Ammo:                                    - student brings 200 rounds
