The purpose and goals of this ministry:
First and foremost to be a vehicle the Holy Spirit can use to minister
to those who visit this web site and read the daily devotions we mail
out. We pray daily over the updates to the web site and the devotions
we mail out, asking the Lord to direct us in all we do. If you are a
baby Christian and desire to stay that
way and not grow up, this ministry is not for you. Just remember you
cannot
stay a baby and live. Spiritual growth takes spiritual food, the
complete Word of God. Every baby must be fed or they will die.
Get the Word without the Spirit and you will dry up, get the Spirit
without the Word and you will blow up, get the Spirit and the Word and
you will grow up.
The purpose of this ministry is to:
1. Be Christ Centered in all we do.
2. Point people to Christ as opposed to a ministry or denomination.
3. Win souls to Christ. (With out Him, no one can be saved.)
4. Feed the saints, milk or meat as the need is.
5. Establish saints in the truth of God's Word.
6. Expose half-truths and lies that are being fed to the saints.
7. Help us to learn to walk in the Spirit as opposed to the flesh.
8. Wash us in the water of the Word of God. (Needs to be done daily!)
The purpose of this ministry is not to:
1. Get great numbers of visitors, although we do want visitors.
2. Get many on our mail list, although we do have a mail list.
3. Tickle ears. Please men instead of God. (Th 2:3-4)
4. Play church.
5. Feed the readers with a form of the gospel that has no power.
6. Lull the saints to sleep and put a pacifier in their mouth, bringing on lukewarmness (Rev 3:16).
7. Bash any ministry by name or denomination. (We will expose lies with truth).
8. Be politically correct but rather spiritually correct.
To accomplish this we will do as the scriptures below say:
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Acts 4:10-2 Be it known unto
you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus
Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead,
even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the
stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head
of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is
none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Rom 1:16 For I am not
ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto
salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to
the Greek.
Eph 5:25-27 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved
the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse
it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to
himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such
thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
2 Tim 3:1-5 This know also, that in the last days perilous times
shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves,
covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents,
unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false
accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of
God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from
such turn away.
2 Tim 3:16-17 All scripture
is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man
of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Tim 4:1-4 I charge thee
therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the
quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word;
be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all
longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not
endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to
themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away
their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
