Under my leadership,
the San Francisco Bay Guardian received a dozen awards for excellence in
writing, news reporting, design, and arts and lifestyle coverage. My work was recognized four times by Project Censored, a
national media criticism program, and three times by Bay Area
Censored, a San Francisco program modeled after the national
project. Reporters working under my editing and direction have won several major
awards.
