We use the E-PERM Radon Monitoring System. E-PERM is currently
used by more than 750 radon measurement businesses in USA and in 20 other
countries. This system enables us to obtain results the same day we retrieve your
sample. Results will be provided via phone, email and/or postal
delivery. If you are looking for a place to purchase a do it yourself kit feel
free to call for a referral or additional information. See below for additional
information and information on radon in water test kits.
We also sell compact, general purpose survey meters capable of
detecting alpha, beta, gamma, and x-rays over 3 selectable ranges. These are
very easy to use - a red count light flashes and a beep sounds with each event
detected. This instrument makes a great tool for the radon tester. It can be
used to locate elevated levels of radiation that may be emitted from consumer products,
antiques and collectables, building materials, back fill and even mother
nature. Locate where not to place you radon test to device to avoid bias
results. It can also be used to detect the presence of radon progeny on
furnace filters and other filter media - this may be an indication of a radon
problem.
The Inspector is a small, handheld, microprocessor-based instrument which offers
excellent sensitivity to low levels of alpha, beta, gamma, and x-rays. The
digital readout is displayed with a red count light and a beeper sounds with
each count detected. The optional stainless steel wipe test plate slides easily
onto the Inspector - using the plate allows for the determination of fixed
and/or removable contamination. The plate is removable for general surveying. It
can also be used for protecting the GM from damage and the instrument from being
contaminated while the Inspector is not in use.

Radon Home Safety Test
It is never too late to test for Radon in your home. You and your family are under a constant
threat of this poisonous gas.
Prolonged exposure to high levels of this substance - which is a radioactive gas occurring naturally in rock, soil, building materials, and well water
causes lung cancer and contributes to thousands of cancer deaths annually. Because radon is odorless and invisible, high levels of the gas can build up in millions of homes and other buildings without being detected by residents.
The only way to know is to test.
