Mission:
The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers is a nonprofit professional association dedicated to advancing the careers of cable telecommunications professionals, and serving the industry through excellence in professional development, information and standards.

Membership:
SCTE’s more than 15,000 engineers, technical professionals, installers, and managers have access to career-building educational resources, problem-solving tools, and the latest industry news. Members also enjoy discounts on professional books, magazines and registration to SCTE conferences, and seminars.

Our Chapter:
We provide local resources for professional development, information exchange, and technical standards. We accomplish this by providing our membership with technical training sessions, mentoring, certification testing, and an annual vendor's day event. Local service opportunities are available to our members by volunteering to serve on one of our active standing committees (E.G. training, programs, communications, & membership). Leadership development is available through service on the chapter's board, and as officers of the chapter.
