First Friday Downtown Lancaster's popular First Friday events are held, unsurprisingly, on the first Friday of most months, February through December, from 5 to 9 pm. First Friday offers the makings of a delightful evening downtown, with many merchants and organizations staying open late and planning special festivities. Parking is available within walking distance and most merchants will gladly validate your parking lot ticket when you make a purchase. A free trolley is often available to take you around to different venues downtown. Every month more arts organizations, galleries and downtown businesses are joining in the gala of First Friday! Come and browse the unique shops and galleries, enjoy some refreshment at the local bars and eateries, and enjoy the casual "open house" atmosphere that is First Friday!
