Surgery went fine yesterday - I'm tired and a little sore, but feeling fine otherwise. The surgery was the part that I was most anxious about, so I'm glad it's over. It turned out to be a long day because the surgeon had to take longer with the patient before me than he had planned. We were there at 8:00 and didn't get home until 3:30. At least I was asleep for a lot of the day…poor Todd was just bored stiff! My skin was only a little gray yesterday from the blue dye; today it looks like my own again.

My next appointment is with the surgeon on Friday morning. I hope that I'll get at least some of the pathology reports at that appointment. If nothing else, I should learn how big (or small) the tumor was.
