5/14/07; Auxiliarist Alan Reff is honored as the 2006 Jones Beach Auxiliarist of the year. Over the past year, Mr. Reff has been a fixture in the Communications Center, volunteering more than 476 hours "Standing the Watch". This commitment to excellence includes watch standing over the Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and 4th of July Holidays just to name a few. Congratulations and Thank You.
5/4/07; MK3 James Brady receives the Commandants Letter of Commendation Ribbon Bar with the operational "O" device for the hard work and dedication to duty James exemplified during his tour of duty. Petty Officer Brady will be reporting to the 175' Buoy Tender WILLIAM TATE homeported in Philadelphia, PA.
4/30/07; MK3 Tony Canella receives the Commandants Letter of Commendation Ribbon Bar with the "O" device for the hard work and dedication to duty Tony exemplified during his tour of duty. MK3 Canella will be reporting to the 225' Buoy Tender ASPEN in San Francisco, CA.
4/27/07; BMCS Milmoe (Officer in Charge) extends his hand to congratulate BMCS Matt Coppola (Executive Petty Officer) during an award ceremony in which BMCS Coppola was honored and recognized for his tour of duty as the XPO of Station Jones Beach. BMCS Coppola is shown receiving the Award of the Coast Guard Commendation Medal.
4/26/07; The crew celebrated with BMCS Coppola (XPO) during a farewell dinner located at Sergio's in Massapequa, NY. BMCS Coppola will be assuming command of the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter BELUGA home ported in Little Creek, VA. He leaves Station Jones Beach after a successful tour as the Executive Petty Officer having assumed the duties in June 2004.

4/26/06; Aux Howie Wolin receives the 2005 Jones Beach Auxiliarist of the Year for over 440 hours of Direct Support to the crew of Station Jones Beach.
4/12/06; MK1 Jones (EPO) receiving his Gold/Pewter Boat Forces Pin for 5 years cumulative service to Boat Forces Units.
