From the PJ Ferry parking Lot, go
RIGHT (WEST) on RT 25A (approx 6 miles). Make a LEFT onto
Nicholls RD
(RT 97). Travel (approx 8-10 miles) on
Nicholls and Go RIGHT on 495 west (Long Island Expressway). Take
Sagtikos Pkwy (SA), exit 53 south to Robert Moses Pkwy (RM). After
traveling over the
Great South Bay
bridge, bear RIGHT onto the
OCEAN Pkwy
(West). You'll proceed around the Jones
Beach Water Tower (needle) rotary continuing to travel WEST for (approx
5 miles). Bear right at the exit for the WEST END BOAT BASIN/U. S. Coast
Guard. Travel 2 miles and make a RIGHT into the STATION.
Approx travel time with no Traffic is
75 minutes.
From the
Throgs
Neck
Bridge
Exit RIGHT off the T-Neck bridge to
the
CROSS ISLAND Pkwy
(exit is on the bridge) south. Travel
(approx 6 miles) to the NORTHERN STATE/
GRAND CENTRAL Pkwy
bear right on the long entrance ramp to
the Pkwy. Once on the exit bear LEFT for EASTERN LONG ISLAND (Note - if
you bear right on the ramp you will end up on the
Grand Central Pkwy
(west) - NYC). Take the Northern State
to the
Meadowbrook Pkwy
(M). You will bear right onto the
Meadowbrook PKWY South
. There is a large sign that says
JONES
BEACH
. Travel (approx 8-10 miles), stay in
the LEFT Thru-traffic lane and go past the Toll booths for the
Jones
Beach
State Park
. You will exit to the RIGHT via the first off ramp after the TOLL BOOTHs
(1mile approx). The EXIT is well marked and says
WEST
END
BOAT
BASIN
/ U.S. Coast Guard. Travel 2 miles and
make a RIGHT into the STATION.
Approx travel time with no Traffic is

From the
Varranzano
Bridge
and Points South
Varranzano Bridge to the Belt Parkway
East to the Southern State Parkway East. Exit to the Meadowbrook Parkway
South. Once on the Meadowbrook
Parkway, within 5 miles you will see an approaching toll plaza for Beach
goers. Stay in the LEFT Thru-traffic lane and go past the Toll booths
for the
Jones
Beach
State Park (You don't need to pay the toll). You will exit to the RIGHT via the first off ramp after the TOLL BOOTHs
(1mile approx). The EXIT is well marked and says
WEST
END
BOAT
BASIN
/ U.S. Coast Guard. Travel 2 miles and
make a RIGHT into the STATION.
