August 15, 2005:

A large group of concerned dog advocates converged on the State Capitol to welcome legislators back from their summer hiatus and express opposition to SB 861, the bill introduced by Senator Jackie Speier that would allow breed specific legislation in California.

The Chako Rescue Association, in conjunction with Thera-Pits, organized this event and thanks the many volunteers that helped out on protest day to make sure things went smoothly.
