Sit in a relaxed position, with some part of your body touching the floor or the earth. Relax and breath from your diaphragm through the noise. Visualize an entrance to the earth. It could be through the mouth of a cave, down a manhole, or if you know of or can picture a tree with exposed roots, you can enter the earth here; be creative. Visualize a white light surrounding and protecting you as you enter the earth. Climb down and count as you go, visualizing each step. For example, if you are entering through a manhole, see the iron bars and feel your feet and hands touch them as you descend into the earth. You need to count at least to 10, depending on your level of relaxation.

When you reach the bottom, sit down. Now focus inward and descend into the root chakra (base of spine, pelvic plexus-region between anus and genitals) where you will find a glowing ball of red energy spiraling in a counter clockwise direction. Feel this red spiraling energy, like molten lava running down your legs, into your knees and feet and into the earth. This energy anchors you to the earth. Remember who you are; remember your ancient self. We all come from the earth and the earth is our teacher. This is the place of manifestation and abundance. Consider the abundance you have in your life. Feel the clothes you are wearing, where did they come from? Realize the complexity of your life and the richness as the molten red energy swirls and anchors you. You begin here, this is your foundation. This is where all of your actions arise. You are the earth, solid and alive.
