The Chambersburg Sapphires are a U10 Division One Traveling Soccer Team. Many of the girls have been together since they started playing soccer. We are members of the Chambersburg Youth Soccer Association which is one of the clubs in the Central Pennsylvania Youth Soccer League. The Travel League Soccer Program is open to children from age eight (8) as of July 31st through players eighteen (18) years of age. This program provides a moderately to highly competitive environment for children who possess above average skills, who want to travel, who want to develop and learn advanced soccer skills and tactics while learning the principles of good sportsmanship. Once per year, players must try out for travel league teams according to their age. Tryouts for the fall/spring soccer seasons are conducted in late April or early May, prior to the start of the fall season. The seasonal year begins on August 1st and ends on July 31st of the following year.
