Well, once again we decided to get a group together to make the trip to Sturgis, MS for the annual rally. It's around 100 - 120 miles each way from Meridian (depending on which direction you take) and a nice day trip - except for the fact that it's in AUGUST and miserably HOT!!! We left Meridian at 8:30AM. It was already HOT! We had eight bikes when we left town. Then two more joined us in Louisville. Present were Bobby, Harold, Duane, Lynford, Keith, Charlie, Jack and Chris. In Lousiville we picked up Harvey and Jeremy. Special mention goes out to those in our group who couldn't make it this year - you know who you are - hope you can join us next time! When we got to Sturgis we "lucked up" when Harold turned into an open, grassy area and led us to a great parking spot. Oh, and to our surprise it was FREE parking - unlike last year! The ground was soft and the grass was pretty thick so once you stopped your bike you were all but literally STOPPED - you could hardly push 'em in this thick stuff. (next two pictures below)

Finally - just a sample of the many, MANY nice bikes that were there. There is NO WAY to take it all in and there are so many bikes it's hard to decide which ones to photograph! It's always a blessing when everybody has a great time and safe travels (with no breakdowns) on any motorcycle trip. Thanks to all who went! (next seven pictures below)
