Shown here is the Dob Driver II controller, along with the Advanced Astromaster DSCs. An aluminum bar connects the altitude encoder shaft to the azimuth table (center).
From the eyepiece looking down, the DSC display is easily seen. The black things on the mirror doors are velcro strips used to wrap around the truss tubes to keeps the doors open
A closeup of the electric Crayford focuser. It's completely clutched and offers the choice between very smooth manual, or electric operation.
