Computerized Quality-of-Wins Index Includes All 550 Illinois High School Football Programs
This computerized rating is a quality-of-wins index. It does not pretend to name the best teams. Rather, it awards points based on the toughness of a team's wins and the strength of its schedule. Teams are separated into big school and small school conferences, and rated together in one composite list, as well. Conference ratings are also available here. Input file constraints caused us to abbreviate many school and town names. If you have trouble finding a school, you can look it up on the alphabetical list.
All ratings are based on a computerized system originally developed by David L. Wilson, a mathematician at the University of Wisconsin.
