Jacob Brinkley of the Lewisville community, Forsyth County, married Emily Brannon (Brandon)? of Yadkin County about 1865.

Jacob Brinkley had a sister, Julia who went to Greensboro. She had two sons, Richard and Lee. It is believed that they moved to eastern N.C.

(Louise remembers Aunt Julia telling her to turn shoes upside down at night to prevent leg cramps!)

Jacob and Emily Brinkley had two children William and an infant daughter who died. They are buried in Warner's Chapel cemetery near Lewisville.

HARPER

Eugene Harper Lewisville community married Amanda Binkley about 1873.

Eugene Harper had two brothers, Andrew and Marion. One migrated to Colorado and the other to Missouri and they raised families in those states.

Amanda Harper had a brother Jonah who was Methodist Minister and died as result of Copperhead snakebite.

Eugene Harper was married three times and each wife was named Amanda. To the first union three daughters were born. Sarah (Sally), Carrie and Addie.

 Sarah married William Brinkley

Carrie married a Hicks and had a son Les, who died in the 60ties and is buried at Morganton. He had one son whose name is Ralph. Aunt Carrie later married a Barkley and had two daughters Vesta and Grace. Vesta married R.J. Holder Sr. And they has a son R.J. Jr. Both father and son died in the sixties. R.J. Jr. left two daughters, Brenda and Carol also a son.

Addie married a Tesch and had four children Pear, Paul, Lina, and Ciero. Pearl married Leroy Shaves and they spent forty years in Japan as missionaries of Methodist Church. Addie later married John Bodford and they had three children, Lillian, Leroy, and Pauline.

To Eugene Harper's second marriage there were a daughter and son. Margaret married Albert Harper and they have children living in home community. Gene married Betty Baily and they had two sons and a daughter Bruce.

Eugene Harper died about 1925 and is buried in Concord Methodist Church Cemetery.

Their children were: Oscar, Mae, Otto, Della, Zeb, Nelia, Josephine, Louise, and Porter. Josephine died in infancy and is buried at Warners Chapel.

Oscar married Earnie Hanes and their children were:

Harry Lee, Eunice, Dorthy, Christine (Dot), Ruth, Gene, and Robert (Bob).

Harry Lee married Verna Mae Koontz and they have three daughters: Pat, ______

Eunice married a Foster and they have no children.

Dot has one son.

Ruth has one daughter.

Gene had two sons. He died in May 1960 of cancer.

Robert has two children.

Oscar was killed in gas tank explosion as Carolina Finishing Co. Salisbury, Oct. 30, 1942. He is buried in Chesnut Hill Cemetery.

Mae Brinkley married Garnie Everidge. Their children were: Mary, Ethel, Rayford, Virginia, Dorris, Edith, Barbara, Jimmy.

Mary has not married. Ethel married Clarence Hudspeth. They have two daughters and a son. Richard, Carol and Shirley.

Rayford married Dorthy Williams and they had two sons and a daughter. Tommy, Steve and .... Rayford died of heart attack about 1967.

Virginia married Roy Crump and they have two sons and daughter. Sue, _____

Doris married Dick Whitted and they have

Edith married Frances Agee and they had a son and daughter Peggy and Joe. Both Edith and Frances died in late sixties.

Garnie Everidge died April 1950 and is burried at Fraternity Cemetery Forsyth Co.

Barbra married a Bryant and she has two daughters.

Jimmy married Pat (?) and they have two sons.

Della married Clarlie Bovender and their children are C.A. Jr., Chester, Curtis, Opal, Clyde, Coy, Irene, Leroy, Carol, and Carl.

C.A. married Lois Jones and their children are Donald, Jimmy, Gloria, and Glenda.

C.A. died of heart attack in June 1969.

Chester married Alice Justice and their children are Jim and Jane.

Curtis married ______ and has a daughter and a stepdaughter.

Opal married a Shouse and has a son Wesley.

Clyde married ______ and has a daughter.

Coy married Clayee Renegar and they have an adopted child.

Irene married Bobby Cheek and they have two daughters.

Leroy married ______ and has a daughter.

Carl Married ______

Della died 1963 and is buried in Forsyth Co.

Zeb married Hattie Eaton May 30, 1931 and they have two sons, Sherrill and Gary. A daughter, Gladys died Dec. 6, 1942 age ten years.

Louise married Robert Beck. Their two children are Edward and Wayne.

Edward married Edith Howard and they have a son and daughter.

Wayne married Ruth Howard and they have two daughters and a son.

Porter married Kate Walton and they had one son, Buddy. Buddy married Jean Poe and they have two sons. Later Porter married Margaret Hillard.

Nelia Brinkley died in 1932 and is buried at Bear creek.

William and Sarah are buried at Bear Creek in Davie County.

Otto married Laura Edwards and their Children are: O.J. Jr., James Irvin, Aileen, Viva, Bill, Richard, Nancy, Ted.

O.J. married Flora Worrly and they have tree sons and a daughter.

Jame Irvin went down in the Atlantic during World War II.

Aileen married a Holthouser and has one daughter.

Richard married Bet _____ and he has a son and daughter.

Nancy married a Bradshaw and has a daughter.

Ted is married and lives in California.

Bill and Viva are not married.

Otto died of heart attack and is buried at Shady Grove Cemetery across Yadkin River in Davidson County (May 30, 1944)
