Make a Splash this summer with
Mary Sue & Cari
o
n one of their
Marvelous Musical Adventures

We are booking for summer, 2010!
We will do any theme for you, but this summer we are featuring "Become a Pirate" to coincide with the CO Library's summer reading theme
"Make a Splash!"

WHERE DO WE PLAY?
We sing at schools, libraries, birthday parties, conferences, fundraisers, festivals, senior residences (yes, we do!), family reunions and just about anywhere you find kids.

WHAT DO WE PLAY?
We play our bodies, guitar, mountain dulcimer, ukulele, the frog, and any other unusual instrument that strikes our fancy.

WHAT ARE OUR PROGRAMS?
Our interactive programs weave original music and stories with traditional songs so that we create a bit of the unexpected with a sense of the familiar. We entertain audiences with colorful puppets, silly antics, and beautiful harmonies.

KIDS PROGRAMS:
We can design a combination of songs to suit any theme. Here are a few of our programs. Even if you choose one of these program theme, we will adapt it so that it is unique and special for you.

Become a Pirate!
Ahoy there mateys and scurvy dogs! Don your pirate apparel (or your swimsuit!) to sail the seven seas, search for pirate treasure, learn the Pirate Alphabet and of course, sing, laugh and say, “Arrr!”

Mary Sue & Cari Favorites
This changing selection of songs reflects the success we’ve found engaging audiences with our light-hearted perspective on childhood and in being a parent.

Buzz! Buzz! We Love Bugs!
Bugs in our ear, bugs climbing up our arm, bugs that love us, bugs in Africa, buzz, buzz, buzz.

Wild in the West
A yippy ki-yi-yay! Let’s round up our dogies and move’em on home. This program is filled with cowboys, trains and a bit of what life was like during this special period of American history.

Leap into Spring!
Old Man Winter fades away as we sing and share stories of sunshine and raindrops, listen for pesky bugs and croaking frogs, and share what happens when skunk meets dog. (Pee-ew!)

Animals, Animals, Animals
Hippos in Africa, a skunk in a den, a cow in the field, a spider in our garden, bugs having a party... We take an interesting look at the creatures in our world.

Howling Halloween
Get ready to cackle like a witch, spin like a spider, moan like a ghost and of course, sing, in this holiday mix of original music, creepy poems, and old fashioned Halloween fun. Don't forget your costume!

Count Down to New Year's
Why should adults have all the fun? Let’s celebrate the New Year with singing, laughing and, most importantly, counting down to HAPPY NEW YEAR!! (How about an 11:15 am concert, counting down to noon?)

Is this it?
No way! Winter Holiday Sing-a-Longs, Campfires, Inter-generational Gatherings, and MORE! Just ask, if we haven't done it yet, that's no reason we won't do it now!

HOW LONG DO WE PLAY?
Our concerts usually range from 20-45 minutes depending on your needs. Libraries, festivals and schools are usually 35-45 minutes, birthday parties are 20-30 minutes.

HOW MUCH DO WE PLAY FOR?
Well, we hate to admit that our prices are flexible, but, in fact, sometimes they are. Pricing depends on the length of the show, if you're booking more than one show on the same day, travel, and yes, your budget. We want to work with you, so please contact us, and we'll talk.

For references, prices and more information, please email Mary Sue.

"Arrrrr! It's a pirate's life for me!"

After our shows, we share puppets and frog instruments with our audience.

"(Mary Sue and Cari’s music) is a great way to make literature come alive and engage young learners." ...Joanne Brown, Second Grade Teacher

"With two guitars and a few shakers these two moms belt out original tunes that keep young ones dancing, older kids laughing and parents humming along."
...Anna Stewart, Boulder County Family Connection
