Welcome . . .
Great News!
We have won a Parents' Choice Award for our most recent CD, "Marvelous Adventures with Mary Sue & Cari"! (July 2009). Parents' Choice was established in 1978 and is the nation's oldest nonprofit guide to quality children's media and toys.
Parents’ Choice Award winning musicians and storytellers share a common bond; they know what it takes to grab and keep a child’s attention. Those who write original songs and stories deliver intelligent, inventive lyrics; they craft and tell a captivating story, in words and music. They create magical worlds that kids believe and want to live in if even for only a few minutes. Their stories and songs may be imaginary; their creativity and talent is anything but. Those who perform traditional songs or stories do so with a fresh approach and a personal imprint. Serious or silly, the material is delivered with a respect for the audience and the medium.
Reviewer Lynne Heffley says,"Singer-guitarists Mary Sue Rogers and Cari Minor present a playful potpourri of pirates and reluctant skunks, Colorado fairies, elves and buzzing bees and a ground-shaking, grass-eating hippopotamus."
It feels wonderful to be acknowledged for what we love to do!
HEY!!! We're on www.youtube.com! Check us out at the SOBO Fest (the South Boulder Festival).

Mary Sue & Cari share fun, interactive music with kids and their families.
Our originial music is educational, but never at the expense of fun! We may have a "lesson" in literacy, science or culture, but the children are unaware of these goals as they clap, stomp and giggle with us.
Forget about dragons and dinosaurs (although we may sing about them too!) We get real with what to do when your child writes on the wall (Oh, No!)...or when your a bug crawls in your ear (Big Green Bug)...or how cold it must be for animals in the winter (Outside).
Singing with kids is what we love. Please join us at one of our concerts, have us for a private event, and check out our CDs, "Music with Kids", "Here We Go Again" and our new CD, "Marvelous Adventures."
