Tom's Lincoln Place

Odometer as of June 13, 1999
The latest addition to the stable, this 1977 Lincoln Continental Mark V was purchased new by my grandparents. I have had it for almost a year now, but I still have a hard time calling it "mine".

Back in '77, my grandparents went to the dealership with every intention of buying a Lincoln Versailles. Thank goodness my Grandmother had the good sense to fall in love with this Mark V. Since everyone was buying the smaller cars, they got a great deal on this luxury liner. Now, twenty-three garage-kept years and just over 25 thousand miles later, It still looks like the day they drove it home. That is, excepting the Tru-Spoke wheels and my grandfather's custom "radiator cap".
