Faux Facelifts for Cabinetry!

If your old cabinets are structurally sound, they can be transformed with paint and glaze.  Art & Edifice offers several faux techniques for cabinet refinishing, and uses professional-quality topcoats for beauty and durability.  In most cases, the cost of a glaze facelift for your cabinets is a small fraction of replacement costs.  Glazed cabinets are some of the most sought-after designs on the market today.

Won't Painted Cabinets Flake and Chip?

Absolutely not!  If a neighbor or TV showed you DIY painted cabinets that weren't durable, keep in mind that the project was not done by a professional.  Art & Edifice begins cabinet and furniture projects with extensive surface cleaning and preparation.  It is the preparation steps that determine the success of any paint project.  Our artisan does not cut corners in this area.  Hand sprayed topcoats add an extra level of protection for your beautiful new cabinetry.

Some of the techniques available are:
  • Crackle
  • Antiqued cabinet glaze
  • Distressed paint
  • Strie glaze
  • Wood grains

Difficult surfaces can also be finished: laminate doors, melamine, stainless steel or aluminum vent hoods, and unstained wood.
