  Oldest ISP is Software Tool & Die (The World) was my public-access Unix from around 1991 until October 2001 when I bought a cable modem. Biannual growing pains which lost some email, while announcements were hard to come by, coincided with a promotion on cable internet I couldn't refuse. I gave them up when the prices went up fall 2002, and sure enough they had some problems again October 2003.
