 Google searches can obtain thousands, if not millions of genalogy sites to browse. I manage to get lost in them or find so many broken links. Though others have posted great working links, I, too, have my favorites. Over the years I have met other look-up volunteers/researchers that have helped myself and others extensively. Here are links to some that I can honestly say have been of tremendous assistance to me; most have become online friends. 

CYNTHIA obtains BMD for Chicago and Cook County within the parameters of the documents that have been filmed by LDS. Since her FHC has so many Chicago/Cook County films on permanent loan, we've been totally spoiled by her superfast times. Her FHC has been undergoing renovations but is expected to be fully operational soon. I don't know how she manages this, but her look-ups are still within a week! MOLLY lives in Springfield and can obtain some death certs for Cook County 1916-current, within the 20 year delay rule set by IL. She can also obtain many documents from other counties of IL. JAN is an expert at assisting others with lineage applications like DAR, among other things. I asked her for help and had my aunt's family back to the Mayflower and DAR within a few hours. SUSETTE is a look-up volunteer that I accidentally found a few weeks ago while I was trying to help a person from Australia. Susette's turn-around for the AL death certificate was within a week, and her charges are very nominal. Not only that, she is so nice and caring. She has a site at: www.alabamadeath.com
